About the Event

Discover the stories that shape Los Angeles at the 2026 Autry Educators’ Institute: Life, Liberty, and Los Angeles! This three-day workshop empowers educators with innovative resources to teach immigration history, civil rights, voting, housing, and civic engagement through the lens of Los Angeles. Explore new approaches, connect with peers, and bring dynamic civics education to your classroom.

We recommend this workshop for high school educators.
