Join the Autry's Docent Class of 2023
Join a dedicated community and expand your understanding of the American West! Autry docents provide guided tours of core galleries and special exhibitions to diverse audiences while gaining intimate knowledge of the museum and its collections. You don't need a degree in art or history!
Classes meet from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on select Saturdays from July through September (dates to be confirmed). Attendance at every class is critical to successfully completing the class.
Apply early, as class size is limited.
Docent applications open April 3, 2023. Docent applications close May 5, 2023.

As an Autry docent, you will enjoy many social and professional benefits, including Autry-sponsored parties and gatherings, monthly potlucks, and field trips.
Autry docents conduct tours for schoolchildren one day during the week or twice a month on weekends for families and adult groups.
Training includes classes in Western history, art and art history, material culture, education, touring techniques, and more.
