About the Event

Saddle Up for Homeschool Day at The Autry!

Bring your homeschoolers to the Autry Museum for a day of cowboy-themed adventures!

From Woody to John Wayne, cowboys fill our media and capture the imagination, but who were the real cowboys? Experience a day filled with hands-on activities, learning resources, and special programs designed for homeschool students and their families to learn more about real cowboys and their place in the American West.

Land Acknowledgment

The Autry Museum of the American West acknowledges the Gabrielino/Tongva peoples as the traditional land caretakers of Tovaangar (the Los Angeles basin and So. Channel Islands). We recognize that the Autry Museum and its campuses are located on the traditional lands of Gabrielino/Tongva peoples and we pay our respects to the Honuukvetam (Ancestors), ‘Ahiihirom (Elders) and ‘Eyoohiinkem (our relatives/relations) past, present and emerging.
