About the Event

Hosted by the Southern California MG Club, Boots & Bonnets is a one-day celebration of British motoring—this year, with a Western twist. Now in its sixteenth year, the event brings together a vibrant mix of history, style, and community.

Expect rows of classic British cars and motorcycles, delicious food truck options, fun giveaways, and a spirited crowd of enthusiasts. Whether you’re a car lover or just looking for something unexpected to do at the museum, this outdoor gathering offers plenty to explore.

The theme—English meets Western—honors a postwar tradition that began when U.S. servicemen brought home MGs and other British marques, helping spark a car culture that’s thrived in Southern California ever since.

VEHICLE REGISTRATION: (all British marques welcome) Cars: $35 / Motorcycles: $20 Includes free museum entry for you and a guest, plus a souvenir tote and poster.

GUEST REGISTRATION: FREE Register in advance to receive $4 off museum admission the day of the event (just show your ticket).
