What happens when atomic technology meets rugged Western individualism and the cowboy’s can-do spirit? In Stanley Kubrick’s 1964 comedy, Dr. Strangelove, the result is nuclear apocalypse. The movie showcases classic humor performances by Peter Sellers and George C Scott, but it’s cowboy actor and real-life rodeo star Slim Pickens who brings down the house… and the planet.
